How is Saorsa different from a news app or a map app?

Most conversations about AI and social media are really about one feature: the recommendation feed. But that is the smallest version of what AI changes.

What AI does today: rank the feed

The current use of AI is ranking. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube use it to predict which post will hold you longest. It is powerful, and it is aimed squarely at attention. It does not make the content more true, and it does not help you understand an event, it just orders posts.

The larger shift is using AI not to rank posts but to gather, verify and explain what is happening.
